Marshall Tucker Band In Concert At ODS May 22, 2004

Old Dominion Speedway today announced the details for one of the most exciting racing events of the year. In collaboration with the USO, Old Dominion Speedway will salute the Military on May 22, 2004. Highlighting this very special event will be a pre-race concert by "The Marshall Tucker Band" starting at 5:00 pm.

The Marshall Tucker Band produced their first successful LP in 1973 and has since played countless venues around the world. To date, The Marshall Tucker Band has produced seven (7) Gold and three (3) Platinum albums. Other pre-race activities include The Military Color Guard.

Racing action begins at 7:00 pm and includes all of Old Dominion's NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Divisions. Old Dominion Speedway also extends its many thanks to General Dynamics, Corporate sponsor of
Old Dominion's Salute to the Military.

Advance tickets are available, cost is $20.00 for an adult, $6.00 for Youth (ages 6 to 15), Children (5 and younger) are free for this special event. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis only. Ticket prices at the gate are at the same cost.

If this event is cancelled due to weather, advance ticket holders will receive a credit applied against any future events at Old Dominion Speedway. Gates open at 3:00 pm and coolers are permitted but will be restricted to 12".
